Supported by the relevant ministries and commissions of the state, Ocean ResearchInstitute of Peking University and People's Government of Tianjin Binhai New Area co-held the first International Forum on OceanEngineering Industry Development and Innovation (Binhai), aiming to construct the ocean engineering industry and sci-tech platform, promote the innovation and development of the ocean engineering industry in Tianjin Binhai New Area, increase the international brand influence of the area, create international cooperation opportunities, support the state strategy on ocean engineering industry and accelerate the economic development.
