"PhD students should go out to broaden their international perspectives by learning form outstanding scholars and researchers in the world," Prof. Zheng Mei, Vice Dean of the Institute of Ocean Research said at the 2018 Year-end PhD Students Academic Meeting.
As a scientific research platform in the marine field of Peking University, the Institute of Ocean Research is committed to fostering interdisciplinary integration. On Jan 4, 2019, students of Peking University Institute of Ocean Research gathered together to share their research and academic experiences of the year. Through the interdisciplinary exchanges, PhD students deepened the understanding of marine related disciplines and got inspired by others' academic experiences.
