Prof. Chu obtained his PhD in Laws at Peking University. He mainly studies politics and foreign affairs of Northeast Asian countries, crisis management, and changes in opinions on foreign countries. He once organized the research programs on excellent talent of Beijing, major subjects initiated by Ministry of Education, projects funded by National Social Science Foundation, and subjects sponsored by Center for Chinese & Global Affairs of Peking University as well as Japan Society for the Promotion of Science.
